Shoppers Drug Mart Specialty Health Network supports our retail stores to provide the best patient care to patients who require specialty drugs. We provide patient support programs for specialty drug therapies, providing physicians with resources to manage their patients, facilitating reimbursement, and enhancing patient compliance. We deliver superior customer service to patients, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve healthcare outcomes for all stakeholders.
We are hiring a Senior Program Coordinator
You are responsible for supporting and coordinating existing specialty services and special projects for several patient support programs. You work closely with the program management team to deliver exceptional client management and business objectives. You are keen to apply your unique talents and be part of a high performance team.
What you will do:
Support and coordination of the assigned programs as directed by Program Management
Assist in managing patient services by liaising with internal staff who provide and support program services
Provide client management services as required
Manage/coordinate special projects as assigned by Program Management
Assist in the preparation of proposals, documents, presentations, and other communications
Manage financial assistance process
Investigate and analyze trends to enhance business intelligence and improve processes
Support Program Management in developing and updating forms and other documentation for the ongoing delivery of program services
Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures.
What you will need:
A University degree or equivalent industry-related experience – suitable for recent graduates in engineering, science, or business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
High level of proficiency using MS Office tools is required
Proven ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent time management, organizational, and a keen attention to detail are required
Must work well under pressure, with changing deadlines from external forces, changing priorities, and projects with multiple individuals within the organization
