Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our sports medicine team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role is crucial in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical function. The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and self-management strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest medical terminology and advancements in physiotherapy practices.
Requirements
- A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid licensing and insurance to practice in Ontario
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly in acute care environments.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
