POSITION SUMMARY
As a Production Supervisor in training (Manufacturing Supervisor development role), you will support production operations while gradually developing into a full supervisory position.
Working under the Production Director, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Production line supervision
- Manufacturing operations management
- Team leadership on the production floor
- Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Health & Safety (HSE) compliance
- Quality and productivity optimization

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Supervise daily production line operations in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met
- Lead, coach, and support production team members on the shop floor
- Support continuous improvement (Lean / Kaizen) initiatives
- Optimize production efficiency, workflow, and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (HSE) regulations
- Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Participate in cost reduction and productivity improvement projects
- Support training and development of production staff
- Promote a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
- High School Diploma required (College Diploma in Manufacturing, Operations, or related field is an asset)
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing / production line / industrial environment
- Experience as a team leader, lead hand, or aspiring supervisor is an asset
- Strong understanding of production operations and industrial processes
- Knowledge of health & safety (HSE), quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts (day, evening, night, weekends)
