About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Lead – Dry End to oversee daily operations in our wallboard manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading a team, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in the dry end process.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate dry end production activities (corner, dryer, stacker, finishing)
- Lead, coach, and support production team members on shift
- Monitor production performance and ensure targets are achieved
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company policies
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance when required
- Maintain quality control standards and minimize waste
- Complete production reports and ensure accurate documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in wallboard / gypsum manufacturing or similar industrial environment
- 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong understanding of dry end operations and production flow
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
