Dorigo Systems Ltd. is currently looking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our growing team!
THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be a technical facing lead ensuring seamless transition and optimization of requirements into manufacturing in coordination with our Sales Team and Customer Account Managers. You will bring to the team your expertise in electronics engineering, strong technical knowledge, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills, strong sense of quality standards, and ability to handle multiple projects in order to play a key role in meeting customer requested delivery terms and assuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Provides analysis to customers’ engineers on product designs for manufacturability, quality, test, supply chain and other DFx issues.
- Direct customer contact for all engineering activities.
- Coordinates technical matters and collaborates across sales, supply chain, quality assurance, and manufacturing departments to support technical inquiries.
- New Product Introduction (NPI): customer interaction, project management, determining optimum assembly processes, test engineering, and DFM.
- Reviewing new orders in coordination with Customer Account Manager.
- Reviews product test requirements and drives test setup in coordination with customer and test technicians.
- Managing internal process work instructions and Engineering Change notices.
- Managing a dedicated Customer base and all their designs related to manufacturing documentation.
- Translating engineering requirements into manufacturing processes using standard tools and processes.
- Creating manufacturing process instructions using Factory Logix
- Assistance with Factory Logix issues that arise during production
Credentials & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Experience reviewing and analyzing Engineering files, including Bills of Materials, Gerber files and CAD files.
- 5+ years of work experience in EMS or a similar manufacturing environment
- MES knowledge is considered and asset (FactoryLogix preferred)
- CAD software knowledge (SolidWorks preferred)
- Knowledge of PCBA and packaged electronics manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and component datasheets
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing theory and practice, Lean for Process Improvements, and IPC Standards (IPC-A-610)
- Strong planning, organizational, time-management and decision-making skills
- Experience with NPI, customer interaction, project management and electronics manufacturing
