Kidz World Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high-quality care and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs and activities in accordance with the How Does Learning Happen? framework and the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe, document, and communicate children's learning and development.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
- Support children's individual needs and encourage independence and self-confidence.
- Follow all centre policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a positive and supportive team environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized college.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Up-to-date immunizations and medical requirements as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for working with young children.
Pay: From $25.86 per hour
Work Location: In person
