Roofing Labourer
A & K Construction is looking for a reliable Roofing Labourer to join our growing commercial roofing team.
We primarily focus on commercial flat roofing systems including:
- Torch-on roofing
- EPDM roofing systems
- Repairs and maintenance
- Flashing/detail work
- Commercial reroofing projects
This is a physically demanding position that offers an opportunity to learn the roofing trade and grow within the company.

- Is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Is physically capable of lifting, carrying, and moving roofing materials and equipment

- Has a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to and from job sites
Previous experience in construction, roofing, landscaping, farming, warehousing, manufacturing, moving, or other physically demanding work is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Assist roofers with roofing repairs and installations
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with site setup and cleanup
- Operate hand and power tools as required
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
- Support the crew in completing projects safely and efficiently
