Job Description
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items quickly and accurately while maintaining our quality and food safety standards. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, and you’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-line team to keep service running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and portion standards
- Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely
- Ensure food is cooked properly, presented well, and served on time
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules
- Assist with deep cleaning of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces
- Assist with prep work, including cutting, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or supply needs
- Assist with receiving deliveries, proper storage, and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (QSR or fast-paced kitchen a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and procedures accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive, mature, and professional attitude at all times
- Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and lead by example when needed
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve
- Able to communicate respectfully and support team members during busy shifts
- Able to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
