Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finish Skidsteer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and possess a strong understanding of construction site requirements. This role involves precise finishing work using skidsteers and other heavy machinery to ensure project quality and safety. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Duties
- Operate skidsteers with precision for finishing tasks on construction sites
- Perform mechanical inspections and basic maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Coordinate with team members to complete grading and site preparation tasks
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations
- Maintain equipment logs and report any issues or repairs needed promptly
- Support the setup and breakdown of job sites, including loading and unloading materials
Experience
- Proven experience operating CAT skidsteers
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and the operation of Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Prior experience in construction or heavy civil projects preferred
- Ability to work safely in a dynamic environment while adhering to project timelines
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques is advantageous but not required
- Need to have an Air TIcket or Class 3 license, with the ability to drive truck and trailer

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
