We are a well-established, fully accredited child care center currently serving 100 children in our program. Our center is known for its warm, nurturing environment, strong community reputation, and commitment to high-quality early childhood education.
The Role
As Director, you will oversee the daily operations of our center, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-quality environment for children, families, and staff. You’ll lead a dedicated team of educators, manage licensing and accreditation compliance, and help shape the future of early learning in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and management of center operations
- Ensure ongoing compliance with provincial licensing and accreditation standards
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise educators and support staff
- Oversee curriculum quality and developmentally appropriate programming
- Manage enrollment, budgets, and administrative operations
- Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the community
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all children
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification (Level 3 preferred, per provincial requirements)
- Previous experience in a leadership or director role within a licensed child care setting
- Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and accreditation standards
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood development and family engagement
- Current First Aid/CPR certification and clear background checks (Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check)
