Job Overview
Immediate full-time permanent opportunity exists for a CNC machinist experienced in programming, setup, and operating a CNC mill. This role involves assisting with machining ensuring smooth production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, familiarity with CNC machinery, and a solid understanding of manufacturing principles. May include overtime when required.
Responsibilities
- Setup, program, and operate a CNC machine center.
- Set-up machine using the correct tools and fixtures in the most efficient manner.
- Assure adherence to tight tolerance dimensions.
- Change tool length.
- Debur and prep parts for loading or clean parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Check parts using inspection tools such as micrometer, vernier, measuring block and height gauges.
- Experience reading and understanding G codes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement via new tooling and setup reduction costs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a CNC machinist role with programming, setup, and operation of mills.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls and full understanding of geometric tolerances.
- Experience with team leading and managing objectives.
- Prior experience in a machining environments is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
