Our office expanding, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist in patient examinations and record findings accurately in the dental management system.
- Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Manage patient appointments efficiently and coordinate follow-up care
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of treatment areas
- Handle patient inquiries with professionalism, providing excellent customer service
Experience
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Abeldent or similar dental management software is a plus .
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
