What You’ll Be Doing
The Associate will work closely with the Investment Strategy Committee, which manages several model portfolios, supporting the back-office and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of spreadsheets and will take ownership of the production of various internal and external portfolio performance reports and group publications. The successful candidate may be required to communicate their ideas directly to investment advisors via phone conversations as well as through the Investment Strategy Group’s conference calls and publications.
How You’ll Succeed
Administration & Support - for the Investment Strategy Committee model portfolios including: recording and distributing committee meeting minutes, performing trade reconciliation, maintaining spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations as well as updating web-based content for the committee’s model portfolios
Research & Analysis – Communicate on recent developments and pertinent market changes impacting equities to advisors and their clients by preparing and distributing periodical publications (Monthly World Market Report, Equity Week Ahead, etc.)
Collaborate – Establish and maintain effective partnerships and teamwork to ensure a level of service delivery that is professional, seamless and timely.
Who You Are
You have experience with Bloomberg & Visual Basic for Applications. Proficient in MS Excel applications.
You have experience in Wealth Management or a closely related field (1-3+ years).
You have a Bachelor’s Degree. Enrollment or completion of the CFA program is an asset.
You have strong judgement and decision-making skills. You are able to prioritize and multi-task.
You are a strong communicator. You have excellent presentation skills in both one-on-one and group settings. Your delivery style reflects an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for growth.
