Front Desk Receptionist Job Description
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment book
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Enter patient information into the computer system
- File patient charts and maintain accurate records
- Assist with clerical duties such as faxing, scanning, and emailing documents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
