Bereket Kebab House is looking for a reliable, energetic, and team-oriented Busser to join our growing restaurant team. As a Busser, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by supporting servers, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and assisting guests throughout their visit.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality, a strong work ethic, and an interest in Turkish cuisine. Since our team serves traditional Turkish dishes, the Busser must be willing to learn and understand our menu items in order to confidently assist with food service and provide accurate information to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a clean and elegant dining environment
- Assist servers with food delivery, water service, and guest requests
- Learn and understand Bereket Kebab House’s Turkish menu items, including kebabs, appetizers, salads, and traditional dishes.
- Be able to identify dishes and confidently assist in delivering food to the correct tables
- Present dishes professionally and help create a memorable guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, chairs, floors, and service stations
- Support servers and management during busy service periods
- Refill cutlery, napkins, condiments, and other front-of-house supplies
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties when required
- Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is an asset
- Interest in learning and understanding Turkish cuisine and traditional dishes
- Ability to recognize menu items and provide basic information about dishes when assisting guests
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent hospitality
- Professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene are required
- Must take pride in personal grooming and maintaining a clean, presentable appearance while representing the restaurant
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
