Gallery Calgary is currently hiring Barbacks & Bussers to join our nightlife team. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and hardworking individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced club environment and contribute to delivering a high-end guest experience.
This position is primarily for weekend shifts, with business hours focused on Fridays, Saturdays, special events, and holiday weekends. Applicants must be comfortable working late-night hours in a busy nightlife setting.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the venue during service
- Support bartenders and bottle service staff by restocking bar supplies, glassware, ice, and mixers
- Clear tables, remove empty bottles/glassware, and keep sections presentable throughout the night
- Quickly and safely handle spills, broken glass, and general floor maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in guest washrooms and common areas
- Assist with opening, closing, and venue preparation duties
Requirements:
- Previous nightclub, lounge, restaurant, or hospitality experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Must be available evenings, weekends, holidays, and major event nights
- Ability to work shifts approximately between 8 PM – 3/4 AM depending on business needs
This is a casual position with hours based on operational requirements. Additional shifts and opportunities may become available as the venue continues to grow.
