What success looks like at Layfield
Successful Account Managers at Layfield are self-motivated, highly disciplined, enthusiastic team players that utilize their customer-driven attitude to assist in developing long-term relationships with current customers and prospects. Using their strong people skills and business knowledge, they act as a consultant to provide new and unique solutions to their customers.
This Account Manager will be responsible for the BC/Yukon region and will be based out of our Richmond, BC office.
How you will lead
- Actively manage and grow accounts in the assigned territory, which includes a pre-existing customer base
- Grow market share by making regular and consistent cold calls
- Understanding each customer’s needs and developing tailored solutions
- Analyzing data to understand consumer behavior and increase sales
- Utilize CRM to manage daily activities and customer information.
- Prospecting and developing exciting business relationships based on trust and respect
- Maintaining knowledge of current and new company products and services
- Position requires a minimum of 35% travel outside of Richmond.
What we look for
- Completion of post-secondary education in business or civil engineering.
- 3-5 years of sales experience within industrial and/or construction industries preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and great driving record.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills.
