As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and reputation of our hotel.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold the hotel’s high standards.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens efficiently to prepare rooms for new guests.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to appropriate departments promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures using industrial cleaning equipment and custodial supplies.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to maintain overall hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely room turnover and support overall hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred; hotel experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning practices.
- Passion for hospitality with a keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service.
