Position Overview:
As a Landscape General Labourer, you will work alongside our experienced landscaping team to assist with various tasks related to landscape construction, maintenance, and installation. From maintenance, softscaping, and hardscaping, you will play a crucial role in helping us bring our clients' visions to life. Candidates with prior experience and a strong work ethic will be considered for lead and supervisory responsibilities as the right opportunities arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Landscape Maintenance: Help maintain landscapes by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pulling weeds, spreading mulch, and performing other routine maintenance tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools, ensuring that they are in good working condition.
- Cleanup and Debris Removal: Keep job sites clean and organized by collecting and disposing of debris, sweeping walkways, and performing other cleanup tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Client Interaction: Interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of landscaping or outdoor labour experience preferred; candidates with more experience are strongly encouraged to apply
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred but not required.
