Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed diligently
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for swift resolution
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all spaces
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials as needed
Experience
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially within commercial or large-scale environments
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
