Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in multiple trades. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Tradesman will be responsible for executing a range of tasks from general repairs to specialized installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete projects accurately.
- Execute cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding applications with precision.
- Conduct construction painting and caulking tasks to enhance the durability and appearance of structures.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction activities.
- Engage in restoration projects that require attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Carry out plumbing and electrical tasks as needed, demonstrating knowledge of relevant codes and safety practices.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills or experience:
- Proficiency in carpentry, woodworking, drywall, painting.
- Experience in manufacturing processes related to construction materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
