About Us
We are a growing, specialty building-supply store focused on premium decking, siding, and exterior products. We work with contractors, builders, and homeowners across Nova Scotia to design, estimate, and supply outdoor living projects.
We’re looking for an Inside Sales / Contractor Desk Specialist who understands building materials and enjoys helping customers turn plans into finished projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working directly with contractors & homeowners at the sales counter
- Preparing estimates and material takeoffs for:
- Decking & aluminum railing
- Vinyl & composite siding
- Exterior trim and accessories
- Reading basic plans and sketches
- Entering orders and purchase orders
- Following up on quotes and leads
- Coordinating deliveries with yard team
- Learning product lines and helping customers choose the right solutions
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
- Experience in building materials, lumber yard, roofing/siding supply, or construction
- Knowledge of decking, siding, or railing products
- Ability to do material takeoffs and basic estimating
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with computers
- Forklift experience (asset, not required)
- The ability to jump into other roles as needed
Bonus Points
- Previous contractor desk or inside sales experience
- Background in carpentry or residential construction
- knowledge of PlanSwift
