Accurate Door & Hardware Co. supplies commercial doors, frames, and hardware for active construction sites across Metro Vancouver. We're hiring a Warehouse & Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to keep materials moving accurately and safely-so installers and site teams get the right openings, hardware sets, and accessories on time.
You will support daily warehouse and logistics operations for commercial doors, frames, and hardware-receiving incoming materials, staging and picking orders by project, and coordinating outbound shipments. This role is essential to ensuring orders are complete and correct, materials are protected from damage, and deliveries hit jobsite schedules without last-minute surprises.
Key Responsibilities
Receive inbound shipments (doors/frames, hinges, locks, closers, weatherstripping, etc.), verify counts/condition against packing slips, and document any damage or missing items.
Stage materials by project and opening, label clearly, and keep \"ready-to-ship\" areas organized to prevent mix-ups between sites.
Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring hardware sets include all required components (fasteners, cylinders/cores, keys, templates, etc.).
Prepare shipments for delivery or customer pickup, coordinate drop times, and confirm site access requirements (loading bay, lift availability, call-ahead instructions).
Identify shortages, backorders, or spec mismatches early and flag them to the project/order desk team before they impact site work.
Maintain a clean, safe warehouse-secure doors/frames properly, prevent scratches/dents, and follow safe lifting/handling practices.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely; complete basic daily equipment checks and report issues.
Qualifications
1-3 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience (construction materials or building products preferred).
Strong attention to detail-comfortable working with part numbers, packing lists, and multi-item project orders.
Physically able to lift, carry, and work on your feet (doors/frames can be heavy; team lifting is expected).
Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
