Full-Time Community Support Worker (Adults with Disabilities) – Penticton, BC
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and energetic Female Community Support Worker to support a young adult woman in Penticton, BC.
This is a full-time position including day, evening and overnight shifts, supporting an individual with complex needs in both the home and community.
Key Responsibilities
. Provide personal care (bathing, hygiene, dressing)
. Assist with meal preparation and feeding
. Support safe mobility, including wheelchair assistance
. Accompany client to community activities (swimming, dancing, social outings)
. Promote emotional well-being, dignity and engagement
. Follow individualized care plans and routine
Requirements
. Experience supporting adults with disabilities
. Relevant training (Community Support Worker, HCA, or equivalent)
. Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
. Physically able to assist with mobility and care needs
. Comfortable providing personal care to female client
. Knowledge of safe work practices (e.g., WorkSafeBC guidelines)
Compensation
. $25-$27 per hour for day and evening shifts (based on experience)
. Overnight shifts compensated at a flat rate (details discussed during interview)
