Job Description

The Data Analyst, under the direction of the Quality Manager, will primarily be responsible for data quality using statistical software to conduct analyses of trends and interpretation of results. This position will assist in the design of new products or services and improvements on existing products or services. This role will also prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles. The Data Analyst must possess a degree or diploma in a related field and three years of related experience.

Job Duties

  • Process data using statistical software to conduct analyses of trends and interpretation of results
  • Assist in the design of new products or services and improvements on existing products or services
  • Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist in collection and tracking of data from monitors and provide information to management and client groups
  • Collect, consolidate, cross-tabulate, and format data from various sources to prepare draft reports for review by managers and clients
  • Assist with the testing of new product prototypes to verify reliability
  • Monitor and evaluate monitoring site data accuracy
  • Interact with production personnel, field personnel, engineers, and clients on scheduling and data quality related issues
  • Maintain, update, and manage information databases
  • Generate spreadsheets and documents as needed for data quality and flow balance documentation
  • Contribute to the development of new projects
  • Act as technical consultant in flow monitoring data analysis

Job Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in a related field
  • Three years of related experience
  • Experience using databases to research and provide accurate and relevant information
  • Proficient with web and literature searches and synthesizing data and analysis
  • Proven ability to conduct relevant research and analyze complex data to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • Ability to analyze and present numerical data in tables, spreadsheets, and forms
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment

Work Conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
