Job Overview
International Motors Canada ULC is currently recruiting PART/TIME ON CALL applicants for our parts distribution center in Hamilton Ontario. Our ideal candidate has a passion for working in a fast-paced environment and embraces new challenges. As a part-time employee, you will be available on call within our normal business hours. Working hours will vary between 0-40 hours per week depending on our business requirements. On-site job training will be provided.
Duties
- Loading and unloading products from truck trailers in a safe manner using a variety of Raymond reach lift trucks and manual pallet jacks.
- Fulfilling orders from the warehouse using computerized scanners
- Working with warehouse management systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders.
- Safely operating an electric vehicle to replenish and fulfill orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to housekeeping and operating standards.
- Using safe lifting practices to move inventory as required
- Using a wide range of motions including reaching, lifting, bending and climbing to accomplish tasks.
- Occasionally lifting approximately 40lbs of product.
What we’re looking for:
- Candidates who are safety conscious and that have a strong focus on accuracy, productivity, and accountability.
- Must be able to work well independently or as part of a team and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates ideally have previous warehouse/distribution center experience and are comfortable using a computerized Warehouse Management System and radio frequency equipment.
- Must have a Grade 12 diploma
- All candidates must be able to pass a physical lifting test and background check.

Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or in logistics is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management systems.
- Construction or heavy machinery experience can be advantageous for handling specialized equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities.
- Previous exposure to warehouse management systems or similar digital tools is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork.

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
