Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries to enhance their shopping experience
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and properly priced
- Conduct product demos when applicable, explaining features and benefits to encourage sales
- Upsell related products or services to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, aiming for quick resolution and satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently and maintain a clean checkout area
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially with POS systems and cash handling
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and giving correct change
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and familiarity with retail sales techniques
- Technical sales experience or experience conducting product demos is advantageous but not required
