Acts in a lead capacity and provides guidance to Call Center Assistants in responding to both routine and non-routine telephone inquiries about the company and/or its services. Incumbent follows established procedures and bases his/her responses on information provided in standard company reference documents. May confer with Unit Supervisor regarding unusual non-routine inquiries.
Responds to both routine and non-routine telephone inquiries about the company and/or its services.
Uses a computer system to track such calls and enters information regarding nature of call.
Ensures that manual of standard company reference documents is up to date.
Trains lower-level Call Center Assistants.
May assist in amending or developing procedures.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Requires good verbal communication skills, demonstrated keyboard and basic data entry skills, and a thorough knowledge of established procedures and reference documents.
