If you like being part of live events and dealing with people, this is the position for you. SaskTel Centre is looking for two enthusiastic Box Office Cashier to join team on a casual basis with availability on evenings and weekends.
The Box Office Cashier is responsible for selling tickets fand provides customer service by communicating information regarding the events, seating options, price structures, and other details to help guests select the best event ticket option.
Typical Duties:

Processes event ticket sales on phones as well as in person using SaskTel Centre ticketing software.

Provides event details to customers including schedules, event description, policy explanation and facility access/egress.
- Responds to related complaints and enquires in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Prepares shift revenue balancing reports, balances transactions to reports, balances cash float, and prepares a bank deposit.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

Knowledge of accepted procedures for handling cash, balancing transactions, and making up deposit slips.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

Ability to interact with customers and remain calm when dealing with customers during high volume periods.

Ability to provide responsive customer service, convey confidence and competence.

Ability to maintain records and to make accurate arithmetic calculations.

Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.

Ability to establish effective working relationships.
Skill in the operation of office equipment and automated systems, including a programmed cash register.

Security Requirements:

Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) upon offer of employment.
Education, Training and Experience Requirements:

Grade 12 education.

One year's related cash-handling experience in a customer service environment.
Hours of Work:

Shift work and weekend work is involved.

Evening and weekend availability is required for consideration.
