Position Summary
As the Counterperson, the individual will be performing Counter duties and Shipping/Receiving duties depending on the daily business needs. They will be required to provide quality customer service and assist customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone using their own automotive knowledge, the company systems and parts catalogues. Effective use of resources, such as the company database and parts catalogue will be required.
Key Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service and assist customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone using own automotive knowledge, company systems and parts catalogues

Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner

Make follow-up calls to customers as necessary
-
Store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing) as necessary

Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner

Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)

Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
Key Requirements

Aftermarket automotive parts knowledge/experience required
-
Customer Service experience required
-
G Driver’s License and clean 3-year abstract preferred (company vehicle available for deliveries)

Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
-
Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)
