The Role
RestoTech Solutions is an emergency mitigation, restoration, and abatement company serving residential, commercial, and insurance-driven projects across Western Canada. We’re hiring Restoration Technicians to respond to emergency property damage, perform mitigation and remediation work, and deliver the kind of service that makes clients feel taken care of during their worst day.
This is hands-on, urgent work, you’re the first person on-site after a flood, a mold discovery, or an environmental hazard. If you thrive under pressure, want to learn a specialized trade, and can be counted on when the phone rings, keep reading.

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Key Responsibilities
Respond to emergency property damage calls: water loss, mold, and environmental hazards, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations. Mobilize promptly and arrive on-site prepared to begin work.
Conduct initial site assessments upon arrival: identify the scope and category of damage, establish safety hazards, and brief the property owner or manager on the mitigation plan in clear, professional terms.
Set up and operate water extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying systems in accordance with IICRC S500 standards. Position equipment to maximize drying efficiency based on site conditions.
Perform moisture mapping using thermal imaging and moisture meters. Record baseline readings at all monitoring points and document findings digitally on the day of loss.
Conduct daily monitoring visits on active drying jobs. Take and log moisture readings at each monitoring point, assess equipment performance, make necessary adjustments, and update the dry log with accurate field notes.
Prepare, set up, and maintain containment barriers and negative air pressure environments for mold and abatement scopes. Operate air scrubbers and HEPA equipment in compliance with IICRC S520 and applicable OHS requirements.
Perform mold remediation and abatement tasks under direction of a Senior Technician or Site Supervisor, including controlled demolition of affected materials, surface treatment, and clearance preparation.
Maintain full PPE compliance at all times on applicable job sites. Follow all safe work procedures, WHMIS requirements, and site-specific safety plans without exception.
Complete all field documentation accurately and on time: moisture logs, photo documentation, equipment placement records, and daily reports. Upload documentation to the project management system before leaving each site.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and insurance representatives throughout the project. Represent RestoTech Solutions with integrity at every client interaction.
Maintain, inspect, and report on company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Flag any maintenance needs or equipment issues to the Operations Manager promptly.
