Sunshine Maintenance and Landscaping has been a leading name in landscaping & lawn maintenance in Winnipeg and the surrounding area for the past 35 plus years.
With our continued growth and to keep up with current demand, Sunshine is Now Hiring.
We are looking for quality individuals to join our team in the role of Lawn Maintenance Team Member and Lawn Maintenance Team Foreman. We require employees who are reliable, have a positive attitude, an attention to detail and are able to work independently or as a team.
Position description;
Lawn Maintenance Team member / Team Foreman - This position represents a fun and challenging opportunity for someone who likes to work outside as part of a team and help beautify and maintain green spaces.
The ideal individual is coachable, with a positive attitude, able to work independently or as a team, good with taking direction, and good at working a physical job steadily throughout the day. We are looking for someone who will add to our team in a positive way with good work habits and a pleasant demeanor.
Qualifications;
- Current Manitoba Driver's license an asset please indicate if you hold this license - REQUIRED, DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HOLD THIS QUALIFICATION
- Available to work for up to 10 hours a day M-F with occasional weekends
- Typical work weeks are 40 hours
- Familiarity with lawn care tools and machinery
- Reliable, punctual and organized
- Ability to take direction
- Previous lawn maintenance experience as asset
- Experience with driving half ton trucks an asset
Some Elements of The Position
- Learning about proper lawn care techniques.
- Performing Lawn maintenance at both residential and commercial properties.
- You will work with a Lawn Maintenance foremen.
- TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.
- Opportunities for advancement and full time employment for both summer and winter seasons.
Wage Based on experience and qualifications
