Coast Tire Inc. is seeking a skilled Block 3 OR Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and proficiency with various tools and schematics. Duties
- Diagnose vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge and schematics
- Perform repairs including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Assemble parts and components as needed for vehicle repairs or upgrades
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with welding and assembly is desirable
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
