Job Description
We are looking for a motivated AZ Driver to join a growing construction equipment transportation team based in Whitby, Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction transportation industry. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training in transporting construction equipment, flatbed operations, and safe load securement.
The position will begin on a part-time basis (approximately 25–40 hours per week) and is expected to transition into full-time hours as business demand increases.

Responsibilities
- Operate manual transmission AZ trucks.
- Complete local deliveries of construction equipment and materials.
- Learn to safely load and unload construction equipment.
- Secure loads using straps and chains.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain a strong safety record and professional attitude.
- Work closely with experienced team members during the training period.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 25 years of age (insurance requirement).
- Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR.
- Experience driving manual transmission commercial trucks.
- Physically capable of strapping and securing loads.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation to the Whitby yard.
Assets
- Flatbed experience.
- Construction delivery experience.
- Experience with load securement.
- Moffett forklift experience.
- Heavy equipment operation experience.
