Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard/Crowd Controller to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities, managing crowd control, and preventing loss or theft through proactive surveillance. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in law enforcement or security operations. Responsibilities
- Monitor designated areas using surveillance equipment such as CCTV to detect suspicious activities or security breaches
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security standards are maintained
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing entry and exit of personnel and visitors
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies to de-escalate situations effectively
- Enforce rules and regulations related to crowd management during events or high-traffic periods
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports for future reference and action
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology is preferred
- Knowledge of crowd control techniques and safety protocols in public or event settings is advantageous
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks quickly
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with the public, staff, and emergency responders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally

Pay: $19.00-$24.89 per hour
