Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable and caring Home Support Worker to provide light housekeeping services in the homes of seniors living in the community. This role is ideal for someone who is seeking part-time employment, enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and wants to make a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Travel to clients’ homes to perform light housekeeping tasks
- Duties may include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, laundry, and tidying
- Follow each client’s individualized housekeeping care plan
- Build respectful, professional relationships with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Report any safety or health concerns to supervisor
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies
- Ensure cleaning is done to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety practices
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Basic First Aid
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory
