Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides and Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including monitoring vital signs and assisting with medication administration
- Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through companionship and assistance with activities of daily living
- Prepare meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with dementia or hospice care by offering emotional support and ensuring comfort
- Help with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Assist with transportation to appointments or errands as needed
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly desirable
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward clients of all ages and abilities
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those experiencing dementia
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or transfers
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience and professionalism
- Basic knowledge of medication administration and meal preparation is preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
