Part-Time Live-out Nanny (Pickering)
Schedule: 25hrs/week, Monday to Fridays from 2pm to 7pm
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $19 to $22 per hour, negotiable based on education and experience.
Environment: Pet-free, non-smoking & scent free home.
Role Overview:
Cardinal Nannies is seeking a dynamic and reliable part-time nanny/housekeeper for a family in Pickering with newborn. We are looking for a caregiver who strikes the perfect balance between being creative, sporty, and playful, while also being able to set boundaries confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare & Engagement: Provide a fun, safe, and active environment. Help with bottle feedings, diaper changes, bath time and naps.
- Household Support: Assist with basic meal preparation and light housekeeping including dusting, sweeping floors, vacuuming, tidy kitchen and laundry etc.
- Transportation: Public transportation available to client’s home.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2–4 years of professional childcare experience with excellent references.
- Education: Minimum Secondary School graduation.
- Credentials: Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Security: A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is mandatory.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle not required.
Personal Suitability:
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is punctual, organized, and takes direction well. Has infant and toddler care experience. We are looking for someone dependable who can exercise good judgment while engaging in creative play.
