Primary Focus:
Supervise a team of maintenance planners tasked with executing the LP MRP (Liquids Pipeline Maintenance & Reliability Program) strategy in the six operating areas in Prairie Region. Ensure the maintenance planning team is performing at a high level, fully aligned with partner processes and increasing the efficiency of Enbridge’s operating groups in Prairie Region. Recognize and adapt to evolving philosophies, and strategy in the maintenance planning field given the approach and implementation is relatively new to Enbridge operations.

Develop and maintaining specific asset type maintenance task best practice library including troubleshooting guides
Develop and execute asset health reporting program including KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Develop maintenance strategies for all new equipment as part of projects or replacements
Create and maintain a work execution best practice program including planning and scheduling requirements with KPIs
Develop and maintain a bad actor management program with KPIs
Responsible for providing SME (Subject Matter Expert) support to technical groups within the Region
Responsible for minimizing new equipment installation defects by ensuring that the Maintenance and Reliability Services group participates in new equipment procurement reviews, installations, and commissioning within the Region
Responsible for effective Maximo project integration of functional tags, PMs, asset records, and equipment manuals for new projects.
Collaborate with equipment SME’s and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to correct equipment reliability issues within the Region.
Ensure Regional Maintenance Support staff is prepared and can respond to a pipeline emergency.
Represent the Region on the Maintenance Advisory Team (MAT).
Host mini-MAT meetings within the Region. Ensure effective communication of information to the technician level.
Provide positive leadership to staff in order to enhance safety culture and coaching on maintenance and reliability excellence across the region.

Post-secondary Education (degree, diploma, or certificate in a related discipline) and ten (10) or more years oil or pipeline experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of organization and hierarchy, and experience in Pipeline Operations.
Strong leadership skills. · Ability to work and effectively communicate at all levels in the organization to gather information and promote improvements. Experienced in advocating for improvements.
Experience with rotating equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
Proven ability to initiate and manage change, be innovative, think strategically, and work well with teams. Preferred:
Experience with PdM Technologies (i.e. vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, ultrasonic inspection.)
Exposure to systems engineering principles and reliability tools such as FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis), Root Cause Analysis, and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) a benefit.
Registration as a CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professionals) or CRL (Certified Reliability Leader).
