Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in Finance? Well look no further. Reporting to the Director, Demand Planning & Inventory Management, this position is responsible for performing administrative tasks to support the daily business operations of the purchasing team.
Location of Position - Terrebonne
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems & updates the AS400 system with the new expected delivery dates.
Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
Helping to respond to emails in the shared inbox in a timely manner.
Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists. Inspecting packing slips to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
Working with the buyers for any delivery discrepancy by verifying invoices for price discrepancies and shipping errors.
Receiving approval of credits for short ships from vendors.
Working with Accounts Payable team & completes the 1330 and 1335 reconciliation for credits and to address matching and invoice processing issues. • Communicating well with colleagues and the Purchasing Manager.
Performing other duties as required.
High school diploma
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance would be an asset
Bilingual: French and English
Good communication and organizational skills
Advanced math skills · AS400 ERP system experience would be an asset
Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
