Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial restoration projects involving water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm damage. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial assessment through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
The Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact for customers, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal restoration teams while maintaining a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Manage restoration projects from emergency response through reconstruction and final completion.
- Conduct site inspections and assess water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property damage.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate restoration technicians, trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment.
- Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Prepare estimates, change orders, and project documentation.
- Track project costs, timelines, and overall profitability.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, industry regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Resolve project issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of project management experience in restoration, construction, insurance restoration, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of water, fire, smoke, and mold restoration practices.
- Experience working with insurance claims, adjusters, and restoration documentation.
- Proficiency with restoration and estimating software such as Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and project resources effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
- IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
- IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)
- Other IICRC certifications are considered a strong asset.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Project Manager who understands the urgency of restoration work, can build strong relationships with clients and insurance partners, and has the ability to successfully manage projects from initial loss through final restoration. Experience in both mitigation and reconstruction environments will be highly regarded.
