We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Piano Instructors to join our Burlington location. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students of all ages and is committed to creating a positive, motivating learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging private piano lessons (30–60 minutes) tailored to each student
- Teach students from beginner to intermediate levels
- Incorporate musicianship skills such as ear training, technique, and music theory
- Select and develop appropriate repertoire for students at different stages
- Prepare students for performances, examinations, auditions, and festivals
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Write occasional progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development
- Motivate students and encourage consistent growth and practice habits
Requirements:
- Ability to teach students ages 4 and up
- Minimum RCM Grade 7 Piano (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- University degree in music or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students
- Must be able to travel to our Burlington studio for in-person lessons
