Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing grilled menu items to perfection, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and grill meats, poultry, vegetables, and other items according to recipe specifications.
- Ensure proper cooking techniques and food presentation standards are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized grill station at all times.
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure safe cooking and holding standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including safe food handling and storage.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grill equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a griller or line cook in a commercial kitchen.
- Valid Food Handling Certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume service periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude.
