We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Serve dishes promptly to ensure timely delivery to guests
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in a kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with meal preparation and food handling best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of serving procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Experience in the food industry or kitchen experience is highly desirable
