As a Float Guide you will be an integral part of the FLOAT.Calm team working directly with guests, other float guides and the owners to expand people's understanding of the power of floatation therapy and other wellness modalities like sauna, cold plunge and vibroacoustic therapy with the aim of helping our guests achieve their wellness goals. This position requires that you can work independently and deal directly with customers and equipment.
What you do:
- Guide new and existing guests into their float and fire & ice experiences
- Educate on the benefits to all walks of life
- Take bookings and point of sale
- Maintain guests accounts
- Maintain and clean the environments to immaculate standards
- Cleaning rooms and laundry between sessions
- Water testing and maintenance
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise with the float environments
- Mentoring and training other float guides on best practices, policies and procedures, facilitate meetings, assist with hiring, ordering supplies, routine maintenance of equipment.
What you bring:
- Looking for Part to Full Time (3-5 shifts per week)
- Daytime, evening and weekend availability needed.
- The desire to help people and do meaningful work
- You are reliable and responsible
- You are empathetic and enjoy taking care of people but can take charge
- Interested in self improvement, mindset and wellness modalities
- At least 2 years prior experience working in a customer service capacity
- You are comfortable working alone
- Enjoy building relationships and able to perform under pressure
- Very detail oriented, not afraid of cleaning and able to manage many small tasks
- Ability to promote and educate on the benefits of services
- General computer skills are imperative including booking software and POS
Bonus points if you:
- Have floated before and have a connection to it
- Can lift a 50lb bag of salt over your head and farmer carry a 5 gal pale of water
- Can tell us the history of floating

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
