Clark Drive Hand Car Wash And Detailing Ltd. provides professional car washing and detailing services in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are seeking an HR Manager to lead recruitment and support day-to-day human resources operations for our growing company.
Position Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee records, policy administration, and people operations. This role is ideal for a professional who can manage hiring needs efficiently, support a positive workplace, and maintain organized HR processes in a service-based business.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment activities from job posting through offer stage
- Review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews
- Support onboarding and new-hire documentation
- Maintain employee records and HR files
- Help administer workplace policies, internal procedures, and HR documentation
- Support employee relations and day-to-day HR communication
- Coordinate hiring needs with management and department leads
- Track recruitment activity and hiring progress
- Help improve recruitment and onboarding processes
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, recruitment, or people operations
- Experience posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and standard business software
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a service business, retail environment, or automotive services company
- Experience with onboarding and HR administration
- Experience supporting policy implementation or employee relations
