We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts in a professional kitchen setting.
Duties
- Bake and decorate various pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Prepare ingredients for baking according to recipes
- Package and present finished products
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Skills
- Proficient in baking techniques and cake decorating
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation within the food industry
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
