Executive Creative Director

This position can be based out of our New York, Philadelphia or Toronto offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing a vision for what Klick’s creative can be and being responsible for all creative operations
A master at the creative craft, he or she demonstrates strong conceptual thinking knowing what makes a good idea great
An understanding of marketing, clients and account responsibility
Organizing, managing, and leading creative teams along with the client(s) as they establish and grow the brands under the agencies stewardship
An ability to confidently articulate ideas and creative solutions that the team can align with and the client can embrace
Experts in the medical, legal and editorial needs of their clients, using their problem solving abilities to bridge the creative and strategic needs with the MLR obligations
Working closely with Klick’s senior management and senior clients to ensure they are ahead of the curve strategically and operationally, building for future opportunities
Capable of following the vision of the CCO and focused on building a team of leaders, implementing process that allows for great creative, and building culture that fosters great collaboration
A leader focused on building client trust and relationships as well as ensuring portfolio health with new business and organic growth opportunities

Identify and develop creative talent within team
Motivate, inspire, and nurture department personally and professionally
ECDs are true leaders at their core, nurturing, inspiring, refining and building on their strengths to be their best

10-15 years’ relevant experience
Strong leadership, proven ability to build and mentor teams
Proven ability to build new business and foster organic growth
Experience leading research, strategy, and proven ability to translate insights into creative executions
Experience managing and mentoring a team across diverse projects
Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to develop, and convert on new business relationships
Bachelors Degree—preferably in Advertising, Design, English, Communications, or a similar discipline
