Overview
We are seeking a qualified psychometrist to support the administration, scoring, and preliminary interpretation of standardized psychological assessments for children and teens. The psychometrist will service clients undergoing psycho-educational assessments, under the supervision of a registered psychologist. We are looking for a skilled psychometrist to join our team at our office near Yonge & Lawrence in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Administer standardized cognitive and academic tests to children and adolescents.
- Accurately score, document, and record test results and behavioural observations.
- Prepare preliminary reports and summaries for supervising psychologist to review.
- Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and ethical guidelines during testing and data collection (e.g. PHIPA, the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists, and test security protocols).
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience administering standardized tests with children and adolescents (e.g. WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-IV, WRAML-2) is essential.
- Experience working with children in clinical or educational settings is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Jane App and Q-interactive is an asset.
- Openness to supervision, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and client confidentiality.
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
