If you are a Manual Machinist, Machinist, Machine Operator, CNC Operator with experience in the field and want to showcase your talent and be a team player within the Basin organization with room for growth, we are looking for you!
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and mills
- Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
- Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
- Set up, program and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
Additional Requirements:
· Mechanical aptitude and great understanding of tapered threads and blueprints
· VDF/Weiler conversational programming are assets
· Mathematic skills to solve problems
· Able to multi-task and work well under stress
· Self-motived, highly organized, detail-oriented
· Must be able to read/speak English fluently
· Conduct job hazard analysis worksheets, as required
· Participate in all HSE inspections
· Participate in 5S activities
· Participate in Kaizens always focusing on improvements
· Follow all company policies and procedures (QC, QA, HSE)
